Walking in Financial Dominion
Dear Partners,
Eleven years ago, our friend and mentor, Dr. Tom Leding passed away. Marcia and I would like to thank you for your prayers and financial support, as Committed To Your Success Ministry continues the legacy of Dr. Tom Leding. Your support has allowed CTYS Ministry the time to reestablish and build upon a great foundation of biblical prosperity that Dr. Tom sowed into our lives.
Biblical prosperity is the inheritance of every believer, unfortunately every believer will not walk in biblical prosperity, a few reasons for this is:
1. Ignorance of God’s Word.
2. Unforgiveness and unconfessed sin.
3. They have never committed to a lifestyle of giving.
4. Wrong confessions.
5. They’ve never established sound financial management principles.
6. They don’t walk in the spirit.
7. Love!!
I believe with all my heart and from studying God’s Word, that you can walk in financial dominion, but there’s a key! And that key is love. The most quoted and the most overlooked passage of scripture concerning prosperity is John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
According to John 3:16, the very nature of God is love, and because He loved us, He gave us his only begotten Son. Love empowers us to walk in our covenant rights. When we walk in love, God’s divine nature will operate in our lives, empowering us to become a giver' which is the launching pad to you and I, walking in “financial dominion”.
Loving God with all your heart is at the foundation of our covenant.
Deuteronomy 6:5 Deuteronomy 10:12 Matthew 22:37-40 Hebrews 8:10
Beloved, all the above scriptures speak of loving God, with all your heart.
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us; Romans 5:5 (KJV). The Holy Ghost produces the love of God in us, and endues us with the spirit of love when you walk in love. 1 Corinthians 2:9 says, But it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Everyone that loves God with all their heart is a commander of wealth. Jesus, our example, loved the Father. But so that the world may know that I love the Father; I do exactly as the Father commanded me get up, let us go from here. John 14:31
Because Jesus loved the Father he could multiply the five fish and two loaves. (Mark 6:41) Because Jesus loved the Father he could command the sea to give up its money. (Matthew 17:27) Beloved, love is the key to walking in financial dominion. When you love, giving is a joy, you don’t struggle with it. It becomes a lifestyle.
Let’s look at David, who walked in financial dominion. David loved God and he was a tireless and delightsome giver. It is contrary to kingdom principles to love God and not be a giver. David said, Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for thy holy house 1 Chronicles 29:3.
David was an unusual giver because he loved God. How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob; Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob Psalm 132:2-5.
When we love God above everything and everyone, walking in financial dominion will just happen. Beloved, God gives us the grace and power beyond our power to operate in a realm of giving that will allow unusual financial miracles to manifest in your life.
Friends and partners, Marcia and I are declaring your success and prosperity.
In His Service,
Pastor Howard
